The Schneider Hotel is a family-friendly lodge-style, ski-in ski-out hotel located just above the Hikage Gondola Base Station at Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort, one of the oldest ski resorts in Japan.
The two main base stations are Hikage and Nagasaka. The Schneider Hotel is about a 7 minute walk over snow from Hikage Station. When arriving to Nozawa Onsen, many guests make their way to The Craft Room, the ski in/out cafe and bar we also operate very close to Nagasaka Station.
Most people who come to Nozawa Onsen will take the bullet train (Hokuriku Shinkansen) from Tokyo Station to Iiyama Station and then take the Nozawa Liner bus to Nozawa Onsen Village. The Nozawa Liner Bus is a comfortable bus that leaves about 8-10 minutes after the arrival of every bullet train from Tokyo to Iiyama Station EXCEPT the last train of the day. If one bus fills up they will have a second bus ready so you don't have to worry about it getting full. It is just 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
